Roseville Christmas Pet Party |
The Annual Roseville Pet Party in the Park was heaps of fun for pets and pet owners alike. Held at the Clanville Park, Roseville at 6pm December 9th there were dogs galore—many dressed up for the occasion, and a ferret. Fun was had for the whole family, with showbags for the kids and pets, games, BBQ, dog painting and balloon animals. |
The BBQ was fired up with a tasty sausage sizzle supplied and cooked by our friends at veterinary wholesalers Provet Sydney. Money raised from the sausage sizzle, drinks and pet party games was donated to WIRES (Wildlife Information and Rehabilitation Emergency Service) to help with their care for sick and injured Australian wildlife. |

Juliette and Dr Greg supplied their clown talents making balloon animals for the kids at the party!

and finally through a hoop. The fastest dogs through the course won a prize!
The sausage-eating race was a big hit as always. While the odds-on favourite were the Labradors it was the smaller dogs that clinched the title. |
(The Labradors were too keen to make sure not a scrap of sausage was left and wouldn’t proceed to the finish line.)
Thanks to those dogs who got dressed up for the occasion! Prizes were awarded for the best dressed pets.

The dog party games were very popular as always, with a new addition of the dog obstacle course, where dogs had to navigate around cones, circle around a chair |
Balloon poodles and monkeys were a big hit for both the little kids and the big kids at heart! |
We would also like to offer a big thanks to Santa for taking time for visit our party—during his busy time of year leading up to Christmas.
Thanks to everyone who came to our party, we hope everyone had a great time, and thanks for supporting the Roseville Veterinary Surgery in 2009! Looking forward to 2010. |
