The Roseville Pet Party in the Park is on again this December. Heaps of fun guaranteed for the whole family - including furry family members!
The Pet Party is open to everyone with all profits raised going to WIRES and wildlife rehabilitation. This year we are having a sausage sizzle, sausage eating race for dogs, dog musical chairs, best dressed pet prizes, Santa photos, Animal balloon blowing, and dog colouring courtesy of Doggie Style groomers.

Check out photos from last years Roseville Pet Party in the Park - and come along for heaps of fun!

On Saturday the 8th December Roseville held its annual Pet Party in the Park at the Roseville Park, Clanville Road.
Presented by The Roseville Veterinary Surgery, this community event is a chance for people and their pets (mostly
dogs) to come along and socialise, play some party games and have heaps of fun.

Doggie Style Dog Grooming provided dog colouring for adventurous dogs, with little Christmas trees and stars
adorning pampered pooches.

We had a visit from some friendly reptiles, courtesy of Crocodile Encounters.

Like any exciting party, party-goers participated in party games - with the sausage-eating race being won
by a labrador (surprise surprise). Despite the contest being a shoe-in all participants seemed to enjoy the
race anyway. And no-one overdid the sausage eating, thankfully!

We also had a game of dog musical chairs! (A simple variation on a well known theme)

Heaps of dogs got into the spirit of the party, and got dressed up - and their lucky owners collected a prizes
in our best dressed dogs competition.

Even Santa made a visit, making his list of which pets were naughty or nice...

All in all - a great time was had by everyone. All proceeds from the Pet Party went towards WIRES - and the tireless work of WIRES volunteers helping our sick and injured native animals.
